You forgot your password
Use the password reset on the sign-in page. A code goes to your verified address.
You forgot your username
There is a username reminder on the sign-in page. It sends to your verified address.
You lost your second factor
Use one of your backup codes. If you saved a recovery key when you signed up, that works too.
You lost your recipient address as well
The password reset sends to the address you verified. If that address is gone, the reset cannot reach you, and this becomes the case below.
You lost your password and your recovery material
This is the one we cannot fix, and we would rather say so plainly than let you spend a week hoping.
There is no reset we can perform, no identity check that would help and no override on our side. It is a consequence of how the service is built rather than a policy we could relax: if we could get into your account by being asked convincingly, so could somebody else, and somebody else asks more convincingly than you do.
The account and its aliases stay as they are until the account is eventually removed for inactivity. Addresses on a domain you own keep working and can be pointed elsewhere, because the domain is yours and nothing about it depends on us.
